Job summary

Wagga Civic Theatre is seeking casual theatre technicians with experience in backstage theatre work, audio, lighting, audio visual, or rigging to join our team. Remuneration is $35.75 gross per hour plus superannuation (12%).

Positions are casual with a seven day roster and evening/weekend hours often required. Applications will be retained to fill vacancies within our casual pool as they arise during the year.

Qualifications

• Experience in stagecraft including audio, lighting, AV, projection and staging.
• Able to work well as part of a team.
• Committed to WH&S requirements of the role.

Responsibilities

• Technicians deliver high quality, professional technical and production support to a wide variety of user groups and customers of the Wagga Civic Theatre.
• Support on-site technical operations to ensure smooth performances and events.

Wagga Civic Theatre is a 491 seat theatre that presents an annualmain stage season of theatre, music and dance and hosts both local andprofessional touring productions. The theatre also delivers a children’s seasoneach year, a day time concert series and other events throughout the year.

Positions are casual and offered on a seven day roster withevening and weekend hours often required. Applications will be retained on file to fillvacancies within our casual pool as they arise throughout the year.

• Remunerationof $35.75 gross per hour + superannuation (12%).

Technicians areresponsible for safely and efficiently deliveringhigh quality, professional technical and production support to a wide varietyof commercial and community user groups and customers of the Wagga CivicTheatre.
