Job summary

Rural City of Wangaratta is seeking a Casual Theatre Technician to support the Back of House team at the Wangaratta Performing Arts and Convention Centre. The role involves preparing venues for events, as well as bumping in and out for productions, conferences and events.

The ideal candidate will have theatre operations experience with skills across lighting, audio visual, staging and rigging, plus a strong focus on customer service and OH&S compliance.

Qualifications

• Suitable qualifications and/or proven experience in theatre operations.
• Technical skills across lighting, audio, audio visual, staging and rigging.
• Strong focus on customer service and ability to work to OH&S standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare venues for events and performances.
• Bump in and bump out of small and large scale productions.
