Qualifications

• A university degree in the relevant faculty discipline or equivalent with associated qualifications in Education.
• Current First Aid
• NESA Teacher Registration
• Current NSW Working With Children Check
• High levels of classroom competence
• Knowledge of the NSW Curriculum
• Knowledge of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
• A high standard of organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic team environment and proven ability to relate to staff, students and parents
• An ability to integrate and utilise ICT effectively within the classroom
• A Cover Letter of no more than one page outlining why you are applying for the position and what you will bring to the position;
• A supporting document of no more than two pages addressing the criteria for the position
• A resume of no more than two pages

Responsibilities

• Casual relief teachers (CRTs) are engaged on a casual basis to temporarily replace absent teachers. Their primary responsibilities are to deliver the curriculum material provided by the absent teacher and to provide a duty of care to the students in the absence of the regular teacher.
