Job summary
The Y Victoria is hiring a Swim Teacher for Yarrawonga Outdoor Pool to develop and deliver lesson plans that build swimming skills and promote water safety for school-aged children. You will design classes, track progression, and foster confidence in students on a casual, hourly basis.
Will work with passionate teams across Victoria, enjoying flexible rostering and access to Y benefits. Required certifications include CPR and AUSTSWIM or equivalent, with a focus on safety and inclusive teaching
Qualifications
- CPR and first aid certifications are required.
- Accredited swimming and water safety teacher credentials are essential.
- Experience and/or willingness to teach school-aged children.
Responsibilities
- Structure and design lessons with activities that develop swimming and water safety.
- Recommend students for level progression as appropriate.
- Teach and model problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
