Job summary

Mr Marco Sushi Inu is seeking a Cook / Kitchen Hand for a casual role at our Deeragun store. The position is 36 hours per week, Tuesday to Sunday, from 8:00 am to 8:30 pm, located at 2-10 Deeragun Road. Applicants should have transport or live in the Northern Suburbs due to limited public transport.

Experience in Asian cuisine or takeaway, especially sushi prep, is preferred. You will work in a small team, maintain high food safety standards, and assist across departments during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in Asian cuisine restaurant or takeaway (rolling sushi, sashimi, kitchen prep).
• Availability to work varied hours, 5 days a week, 8am–8:30pm.
• Friendly, reliable team player with good personal presentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cooking and kitchen prep for sushi and meals.
• Maintain high standards of food handling and presentation.
• Support in other departments during busy periods as needed.
