Norella Disability Support Services, based in Sydney, is seeking a caring casual Support Worker for the Waterloo area. You will provide community access, companionship and daily living support, including personal care and transport to appointments.

Flexible shifts across seven days, 8:00am–8:00pm, are available to match client needs. The role requires Cert III/IV in Individual Support, Disability or Ageing, NDIS Worker Screening, Working With Children Check, First Aid/CPR and a valid driver’s

Norella Disability Support Services is a Sydney-based NDIS provider delivering person-centred, reliable support. We are looking for a caring and dependable casual Support Worker with flexible availability to join our team in the Waterloo area.

Availability

Available across the whole week, Monday to Sunday, between 8:00am and 8:00pm

Shifts range from a minimum of 3 hours to longer shifts

Shifts are offered on a casual, as-needed basis

Shifts currently available include

Afternoon shifts, 3:00pm to 6:00pm

Daytime shifts, Monday to Sunday 9:30am to 2pm or more

About the role

Providing community access, companionship and daily living support

Assisting with personal care, household tasks and transport to appointments as needed

Building positive, respectful relationships and supporting clients' independence

Completing shift notes and reporting incidents in line with NDIS requirements

What we're looking for

A mature, patient and reliable support worker

Female support worker preferred to match client preference

Flexible availability between 8:00am and 8:00pm, seven days a week

Cert III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or Ageing (or equivalent experience)

NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

Working With Children Check

Current First Aid and CPR

Current driver's licence car and comprehensive car insurance needed

Lives locally or can reliably travel to Waterloo
