Job summary

Zambrero Torquay is seeking dedicated Casual Shift Supervisors to lead our team during busy service periods. You will ensure guests leave happier than when they arrived by upholding our service standards, brand values, and Plate 4 Plate mission.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should be highly flexible across weekdays, evenings, and weekends, with full summer availability.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and natural leadership skills.
• Willingness to learn Zambrero systems and brand standards.
• Ability to stay calm and organised during busy shifts.
• Flexibility across weekdays, evenings, and weekends; full summer availability (14 Dec - 30 Jan).

Key Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Restaurant Manager, your duties will include:

• Leading the team to keep service running smoothly and efficiently
• Maintaining strict food safety, quality, and presentation standards
• Supporting and mentoring both new and existing team members
• Providing warm, welcoming, and professional customer service
• Keeping the restaurant clean, organised, and inviting for all guests
• Assisting with stock management, ordering, and basic administrative tasks

What You Bring
