Deadly Coders in Brisbane seeks a casual Instructor to deliver hands-on STEM workshops to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students using pre-prepared lesson plans. No STEM experience is required, as full training is provided, with travel across Brisbane and South East Queensland.

The role pays $36 per hour plus superannuation, reporting to Admin and Operations Coordinator. You will engage students aged 6–18, foster an inclusive learning environment, and submit timesheets and feedback after

Qualifications

• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.
• Current Working With Children Check (Queensland blue card) or willingness to obtain one.
• No STEM experience required; training will be provided.
• Willingness to travel to schools and communities across Brisbane and SE Queensland.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on, culturally responsive STEM workshops to students aged 6 to 18.
• Use pre-prepared lesson plans; no content creation required.
• Foster a positive, inclusive and empowering learning environment.
• Encourage students to explore digital skills, problem-solving and creativity.
• Travel to schools and communities to deliver programs.
• Submit timesheets and session feedback after each program.
