Job summary

Somerville House in Brisbane is seeking motivated Sports Co-ordinators on a casual basis to lead the co-curricular sports program across multiple disciplines.

Ideal candidates will have experience in school sports, a collaborative approach to motivate coaches and students, and current First Aid and CPR certificates with a Working with Children check.

The role offers on-site shifts with training opportunities and the chance to positively impact student engagement and achievement.

Qualifications

• Experience leading school-based co-curricular sports across multiple disciplines.
• Ability to engage students, parents and vendors to grow participation.
• Proven collaborative approach to motivate coaches and students.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the co-curricular sports program across multiple disciplines.
• Support student engagement, retention and progression in sports.
• Collaborate with students, parents and external partners (vendors, coaches).
• Assist with rostering of on-call shifts as advised by the Director of Sport.
