Job summary

Sutherland Shire Council is seeking casual Drivers to join our Waste Services team in the Sutherland Shire, Sydney. Roles include Rear Loader and Side Arm Operators, serving residential waste, recycling, and FOGO collections.

An HR Licence is required, with a strong safety mindset and reliable teamwork ethos. We offer attractive pay up to AU$51 per hour plus super, plus a daily allowance where applicable, with opportunities for future permanent placements within Local Government.

Paying up to $51+super per hour: Additional allowance of $109.20 per day (for the driver on the day only).

The Opportunities:

Side Arm Drivers:

Operate modern collection vehicles servicing residential waste, recycling and FOGO collections throughout the Sutherland Shire.

Rear Loader Drivers:

Work alongside dedicated crews collecting domestic and commercial waste and recycling while delivering an essential frontline service to the community.
