Job summary

Wesfarmers Chemicals, Energy & Fertilisers (WesCEF) invites applications for a casual Sample Receivals and Preparer Assistant based in Bibra Lake, WA. You will support our high-throughput Soil and Plant Analysis Laboratory, preparing samples and keeping strict safety and quality standards.

The role emphasises accuracy, teamwork, and flexibility, with shifts rostered November to April. Candidates should be able to handle varied start times and maintain a clean, compliant workspace.

Qualifications

• Safety is the top priority in all tasks.

• Ability to multitask and switch between duties.
• Comfort working autonomously as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Sieving and grinding soil and plant samples for analysis.
• Receiving and sorting soil samples for test requirements.
• Washing lab equipment and cleaning the sample areas.
• Disposal and treatment of samples to meet quarantine requirements.
• Maintain a safe working environment and deliver quality work.
