Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing Australia in Girraween, NSW, is hiring a Sample Receipt Officer for a full-time, day-to-day role. The position operates Tue-Sat, 2pm–10pm, with a 1.5% superannuation top-up on top of the national standard rate.

You will handle the receipt and registration of customer samples and liaise with customers and lab staff to meet all requirements. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will log samples, ensure QA and storage compliance, and coordinate courier logistics.

Qualifications

• Previous administration experience is highly regarded.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• High level attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time and priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and check samples meet customer and testing requirements.
• Log samples in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Complete quality control and quarantine records per requirements and work instructions.
• Sort, pack, label and distribute samples and related items as required.
• Ensure samples are delivered to appropriate laboratory areas within holding times.
• Coordinate with external clients on sample submissions and inquiries.
