Job summary

Intertek Envirolab in Perth (Canning Vale) is seeking a Casual Laboratory Assistant to join our brand-new facility. The role is entry-level with flexible hours, ideally between 8 am and 7 pm, Monday to Friday, with a minimum of 30 hours per week.

There is on-site parking and a modern workspace designed for comfort and efficiency. You will perform sample handling, operate milling and crushing equipment, support chemists, prepare dispatches, and maintain a clean warehouse while following safety

Qualifications

• Entry-level position with flexible hours.
• Ideal starting point for a career in laboratory work.
• Experience in a safety-focused environment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform sample sorting, weighing, and splitting of both liquid and solid samples.
• Operate LM2 Pulverising Mill and Jaw Crusher.
• Support chemists and technicians with day-to-day tasks.
• Prepare client container orders for dispatch.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and manage waste disposal.
• Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and PPE requirements.
