Job summary

Duffs Jewellers is seeking a casual Retail Team Member to warmly welcome customers, help them choose jewellery or watches, and maintain friendly service in Ballarat.

You’ll handle sales inquiries, process transactions accurately, and learn about our jewellery range while supporting the team in day-to-day retail tasks. Weekend or holiday shifts available; previous retail experience is valued, but training is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred; jewellery experience is a bonus, but not required, we’ll train you.
• Available for weekend or holiday shifts.
• Strong communication and a positive attitude.

Duffs Jewellers is a family owned business with over 100 years of history, and we’re looking for a friendly, customer-focused team member to join our Ballarat team on a casual basis.

About the Role

As a casual retail staff member, you’ll be the face of Duffs Jewellers, welcoming customers, helping them find the perfect piece for life’s special moments, and maintaining the warm, approachable service we’re known for.

Your typical tasks will include:

• Greeting customers and offering personalised service
• Assisting with sales and product enquiries
• Handling transactions accurately
• Learning about jewellery, watches, and gift products
• Supporting the team with general retail duties

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Loves helping people and making their shopping experience memorable
• Has strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment
• Is reliable, flexible, and available for weekend or holiday shifts
