Job summary

Downer's Energy & Utilities is seeking casual Rigging personnel to join the outage team at Mt Piper Power Station, Blackmans Flat, NSW. You will support refurbishment and maintenance on cooling tower infrastructure in a dedicated outage environment.

Work with supervisors, tradespeople and project teams and perform general labouring tasks. This casual role offers ongoing opportunities through our casual pool and requires HRWL RB/RI/RA, a valid drivers licence, White Card and relevant safety

Qualifications

• HRWL RB/RI/RA is required.
• Valid drivers licence is essential.
• White Card and construction induction training needed.
• Working at Heights and Confined Spaces completed within last 3 years.
• Gas Test Atmospheres training is highly regarded.
• Experience with hand tools and equipment is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in an outage environment supporting refurbishment and maintenance on cooling tower infrastructure.
• Collaborate with supervisors, tradespeople and project teams to complete tasks.
• Perform general labouring duties as required on site.
