Job summary

Downer's Energy & Utilities has casual Boilermaker opportunities at Mt Piper Power Station to support outage refurbishment and maintenance on cooling tower infrastructure. You will work with supervisors, tradespeople and project teams in a collaborative environment, performing general labouring tasks as part of the outage crew.

The role is casual with ongoing opportunities in the pool. Candidates should hold a valid Drivers Licence and White Card, plus Working at Heights and Confined Spaces

Qualifications

• Current valid Drivers Licence.
• White Card / Construction Induction accreditation.
• Working at Heights and Confined Spaces — completed within last 3 years.
• Gas Test Atmospheres experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Refurbish and maintain cooling tower infrastructure within outage environments.
• Collaborate with supervisors, tradespeople and project teams to deliver tasks.
• Perform general labouring duties as part of the outage crew.

The Opportunity

Downer's Energy & Utilities business has opportunities for casual Boilermaker's to join our outage team at Mt Piper Power Station. You will provide your expertise within an outage environment supporting refurbishment and maintenance activities on cooling tower infrastructure. This will include working collaboratively with supervisors, tradespeople, and project teams as well as general labouring tasks. This is a casual role, and successful candidates will join our casual pool for ongoing work opportunities.

About You

• Drivers Licence
• White Card / Construction Induction
• Working at Heights and Confined Spaces - both completed within last 3 years
• Gas Test Atmospheres and Advances Confined Space Entry - Highly regarded
• Experienced in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform tasks
