Job summary

Dahlsens Family Group of Companies is seeking a friendly Casual Retail Assistant to join Tableland Hardware in Atherton. You’ll help trade and retail customers find the right products, provide advice and support while making every visit easy and welcoming.

Our store is open 6 days per week, and rostered Saturday shifts are required. You’ll welcome customers in store and over the phone, offer practical product advice, process sales, maintain a tidy counter area, and collaborate with the yard and

Qualifications

• Friendly, helpful attitude and clear communication with customers.
• Reliability and willingness to assist across the store.
• Retail, hardware or trade experience is helpful, but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and ability to safely lift and handle goods.
• LF forklift licence is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in store and over the phone.
• Provide practical product advice.
• Process sales, orders and payments.
• Keep the counter area clean, organised and safe.
• Work with the yard and sales teams to deliver great service.
