Job summary

Dahlsens Building Centres Pty in Australia is offering entry-level roles across our Trade Centre and Retail stores in Bungalow, Gordonvale, Innisfail and Atherton. You’ll work at the hardware counter, chat with tradies, builders, and DIYers, and help customers find what they need.

You must be 15 years old, still at school, and available to work afternoons, weekends and school holidays. We provide training, friendly service, stock handling, and a supportive team in a growing family-owned business.

Qualifications

• Be 15 years of age and still at school.
• Able to work afternoons, weekends and school holidays.
• Enjoy helping customers and working as part of a team.
• Physically able to lift and move stock when needed.
• Commitment to safety and following store procedures.

Responsibilities

• Learn on the job and build your confidence.
• Provide friendly, helpful service to every customer.
• Assist customers in store and over the phone.
• Handle stock carefully and help keep things organised.
• Keep the store clean, safe and ready for customers.
