IFYS Limited. is seeking Residential Youth Workers to support children and young people in our Residential Care programs in the Toowoomba region. The role involves providing a safe, therapeutic environment, assisting with daily routines, and supporting life-skills development under Case Plans.

You will complete daily case notes, engage in activities, and participate in in-house training. The position is casual with a schedule that includes day/evening/sleepover/weekend shifts and access to

Qualifications

• Certificate IV or higher in a relevant field.
• Current Queensland driver's license (unrestricted).
• QLD Working with Children Blue Card or have applied for one.
• Ability to provide two references from recent employers.

Responsabilités

• Provide a safe and therapeutic environment for young people to grow and learn.
• Support and manage young people's complex and challenging behaviours in a calm manner.
• Build rapport and maintain professional boundaries.
• Plan individual and group activities to meet needs and goals in line with Case Plans.
• Admin duties including petty cash, case notes, and incident reports.
• Transport clients to school, work, appointments and other commitments.

Formation

Certificate IV or higher in a relevant field

Driver's licence (QLD)

Working with Children Blue Card (QLD)

Ability to provide two references
