Qualifications

• Diploma in Community Services required.
• Demonstrated caring, patient and empathetic attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including sleepovers, weekends and holidays.
• Previous experience working with youth is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
• Able to pass a background check and clearances.

Responsibilities

• Assist youth with daily living tasks and personal care.
• Provide emotional support and build positive relationships with residents.
• Facilitate recreational and educational activities for growth.
• Support youth in developing life skills and personal goals.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing living environment.
• Document residents' progress and well-being accurately.
• Engage with Young People using trauma-informed approaches.
