Job summary

St Malachy’s Primary School - Edenhope is seeking a relief teacher to support learning across Foundation to Year 6. You will deliver engaging lessons using plans provided by the classroom teacher and help maintain safe, inclusive learning environments.

Applicants should hold Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration and complete Mandatory Reporting training; First Aid/Anaphylaxis/Asthma qualifications are desirable.

Job description

Relief teaching students in Years Foundation to Year 6.

The successful applicant will:

• Provide a commitment to Catholic Education and to the safety, wellbeing and protection of children and young people
• Support the Catholic identity and values of St Malachy's School
• Deliver engaging learning using plans provided by the classroom teacher
• Create safe, positive and inclusive learning environments
• Maintain consistent classroom routines and positive behaviour expectations
• Support students with diverse learning and wellbeing needs
• Work collaboratively with Learning Support Officers and school staff
• Communicate professionally and provide clear feedback to classroom teachers
• Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility and a strong commitment to child safety
