Job summary

UPA of NSW is seeking a Registered Nurse for our casual pool at Bracken House, Dubbo. You’ll provide high-quality nursing care to residents, work flexibly across shifts, and join a direct UPA team rather than agency.

You will conduct assessments, contribute to care plans, support the wider care team, maintain accurate records, and participate in safety and quality initiatives. Current AHPRA registration and a Bachelor of Nursing are required, with 12 months post-registration experience.

Qualifications

• Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
• At least 12 months’ post-registration experience.
• Desirable: LeeCare and Medsig experience; First Aid & CPR current.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical nursing care within your scope of practice.
• Complete clinical assessments and identify residents’ care needs.
• Contribute to care plans and address identified needs and preferences.
• Provide clinical support and advice to the Residential Aged Care team.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records.
• Provide clinical reports and recommendations to support positive outcomes.
• Support and supervise care employees to maintain clinical competencies.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and health professionals.
• Support quality, safety and continuous improvement across the home.
