Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Company in Echuca seeks a Casual Production Operator to support safe, efficient production on a rostered 12-hour shift. You will operate and monitor equipment, keep lines supplied, perform basic quality checks and record data. Training will be provided for fixed plant machinery and forklift operation.

This hands-on role requires strong safety awareness, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to changing production needs, including processing, packaging, and housekeeping tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate & monitor equipment as trained; report issues to the Team Leader/Line Leader.
• Keep the line supplied with packaging/consumables (e.g., pouches, lids, labels).
• Follow all safety, food safety, quality, environmental and hygiene requirements, including SOPs and PPE.
• Participate in site communications (pre-start checks, toolbox talks).
• Pack, re-pack, assemble and palletise products as needed.
• Complete basic quality checks and confirm product presentation.
• Accurately record required information (paper and/or electronic).
• Move materials/finished goods using pallet jacks/trolleys or powered equipment (forklift).
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping; rostered cleaning to schedules.

We're seekingCasual Production Operatorsto support safe, efficient production at our Echuca manufacturing site. This is a hands-on, rostered role where your day-to-day tasks will vary based on operational needs, your training and competency sign-off, and the area you're working in (e.g., processing, manual handling, materials handling, cleaning, labelling and inspection).

Shift work is a requirement for this position, including 12-hour day or night shifts.

• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping, including rostered cleaning to schedules/procedures
• Support other teams as neededto meet production priorities
