Responsibilities

• Operate & monitor equipment as trained; report issues to the Team Leader/Line Leader.
• Keep the line supplied with packaging/consumables (e.g., pouches, lids, labels).
• Follow all safety, food safety, quality, environmental and hygiene requirements, including SOPs and PPE.
• Participate in required site communications (pre-start checks, toolbox talks, etc.).
• Pack, re-pack, assemble and palletise products as needed.
• Complete basic quality checks (visual, pack/label) and record outcomes.
• Move materials/finished goods using pallet jacks/trolleys or powered equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping per schedules/procedures.
• Support other teams as needed to meet production priorities.

This is a hands‑on, rostered role where your day‑to‑day tasks will vary based on operational needs, your training and competency sign‑off, and the area you’re working in (e.g., processing, manual handling, materials handling, cleaning, labelling and inspection).

Shift work is a requirement for this position, including 12‑hour day or night shifts.

• Complete basic quality checks (e.g., visual, pack/label checks) and confirm product presentation
• Accurately record required information (paper and/or electronic), including checks, counts, downtime reasons and quality outcomes
• Move materials/finished goods using pallet jacks/trolleys or powered equipment (e.g., forklift)
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping , including rostered cleaning to schedules/procedures
• Support other teams as needed to meet production priorities

About you

• Current Forklift Licence

• Mechanical aptitude
