Qualifications

• Previous tractor operating experience.
• Confident operating tractors on uneven farm terrain.
• Experience with tractor attachments or mulching equipment highly regarded.
• Understanding of PTO and hydraulic systems desirable.
• Chemcert certificate required.
• Good spatial awareness around trees and irrigation infrastructure.
• Reliable and able to follow instructions.
• Strong commitment to machinery and workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractors safely across uneven orchard terrain.
• Operate and adjust tractor-mounted mulching equipment.
• Maintain steady speeds and straight passes between citrus rows.
• Safely control PTO, hydraulic systems, and tractor attachments.
• Work carefully around trees, trunks, irrigation lines, and root systems.
• Complete basic pre-start checks and report equipment issues.
• Follow farm WHS and machinery safety procedures.
• Assist with general orchard duties as required.
