Job summary

UniSC Clinical Trials is seeking motivated casual team members on the Sunshine Coast to engage and support individuals interested in clinical trials. You will be the first contact, provide trial information, assess eligibility, and schedule clinic visits.

The role offers flexible shifts finishing between early evening and weekends, with a competitive hourly rate plus 12% superannuation. Training is provided and data confidentiality is essential in this purpose-driven team.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, administration, or participant engagement roles.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly, professional approach.
• High attention to detail and accuracy when recording information.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and work independently.

Responsibilities

• engage potential participants via phone, text, email, and social media;
• provide clear information about clinical trials and answer questions to support informed participation
• conduct pre-screening questions over the phone to assess initial eligibility and book clinic screening appointments
• accurately record data in secure systems while maintaining strict confidentiality
• collaborate with team members to balance workload and support administrative tasks
• work with stakeholders across the network to enhance recruitment strategies and outcomes; and
• contribute to meeting or exceeding participant recruitment and enrolment targets.
