Job summary

South Gippsland Shire is seeking an Outdoor Team Member for Infrastructure Maintenance in Leongatha, VIC. The casual position involves assisting with roads, bridges, drains, culverts, storm water and footpaths across the shire.

You’ll need to be physically fit, have experience in a similar role, and hold a current driver’s licence. Plant and equipment experience (chainsaws, loaders, backhoes, excavators) is desirable for the role.

• Physically fit for labouring work.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Understanding of safe and competent use of plant and equipment.
• Current driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and maintenance of roads infrastructure, bridges, drains, major culverts, storm water and footpaths across South Gippsland.
• Operate and assist with plant and equipment as required (chainsaws, loaders, backhoes, excavators).
• Demonstrate attention to detail, time management and teamwork on site.
