Job summary

St Hilda's School on Queensland's Gold Coast invites applications for OSHC Vacation Care Assistants and Assistant Educators. This casual, immediate-start role supports before/after school and vacation programs within a faith-based, play-based setting.

You will help run daily activities, supervise children, and uphold safety standards while engaging with families in a warm, values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA OSHC qualification highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Working with Children Check (Paid Blue Card), or eligibility to obtain one prior to appointment.
• Current CPR/First Aid qualification (including Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training).

Responsibilities

• Help set up and run daily activities, prepare resources and play environments under the direction of the OSHC Coordinator
• Pack away equipment and keep the space clean, tidy and welcoming
• Contribute to and support the Service's Child Safe Action Plan and Quality Improvement Plan
• Actively supervise children in the program and ensure the safety, and wellbeing of the children at all times
• Foster positive and supportive relationships with children and their families
• Actively supervise children at all times, both indoors and outdoors,
• Uphold Workplace Health and Safety standards at all times.

Education

Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

Working with Children Check
