Job summary

Catholic Early EdCare in Ashgrove is seeking enthusiastic casual OSHC Educators to provide before/after school and vacation care with a play-based approach. No formal qualification is required, though a Children’s Services qualification is highly regarded and those pursuing one are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include creating a warm, safe environment, designing inclusive activities, and collaborating with a team to support children's learning and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• A qualification in Children's Services or Early Childhood Education and Care is highly regarded but not essential.
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Mandatory Child Protection (Geccko) Course 1 & 2 — Course 3 & 4 optional but highly regarded.
• A passion for education and care of school-aged children in a play-based environment.
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and My Time Our Place is desirable.
• Effective workplace communication skills.

Responsibilities
