Job summary

Gowrie NSW is seeking an educator to join the OSHC Kelso service in a role that supports a safe, play-based learning environment for children. The successful candidate will contribute to program delivery, supervision, and daily care while working within Gowrie's child-safe policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Have a passion for working with children.
• Diploma (Children's Services) or a Bachelor in Early Years or studying toward this qualification.
• Valid compliance certificates (e.g. WWCC, Child Protection, First Aid).

• Maintain a safe, play-based environment for children.
• Ensure compliance and safety requirements are met; complete necessary paperwork; assist with cleaning and food preparation.

About Gowrie NSW OSHC Kelso

We are a not-for-profit OSHC service that places high value in creating a safe, play-based environment for children to thrive. We consider a friendly team dynamic to be integral to the impact of our learning programs and we are looking for someone who shares that philosophy and wants to be part of a committed and engaged team.

Availability to work Monday to Friday as required during the school term and straight shifts during vacation care.

You will also need to ensure compliance and safety requirements are met, do some paperwork and assist with cleaning and food preparation.

About you

• Have a passion for working with children
• Preferably have Diploma (Children's Services) or a Bachelors in the Early Years or are working towards this or a similar qualification
