Job summary

ForHealth Group is seeking a Casual Medical Assistant to join our Rockhampton practice. You will work closely with Nurses and General Practitioners, delivering high quality patient care while supporting reception and administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Certificate 3 Health Services Assistant, Certificate 4 Medical Practice Assisting or first year of Bachelor of Nursing completed.
• Flexibility with availability.
• Capacity to multi-task and prioritize.
• Working With Children Check Clearance.
• Evidence of routine immunization serology.
• Eligibility to work in Australia required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Clinical areas are adequately stocked and replenish stock before depletion.
• Clean and sterilise instruments and maintain replacement when not working.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Document all patient care activities.
• Provide a high level of customer service as the first point of contact for patients.
• Provide admin support.
