Job summary

RACV Limited is seeking a Casual Kitchen Attendant for its Cape Schanck Resort on the Mornington Peninsula. You will support the kitchen with stewarding, washing dishes, cleaning, waste management and assisting chefs, helping the kitchen run smoothly.

We value a dependable, team-focused candidate with experience in a commercial kitchen, strong hygiene practices, and the ability to work in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in stewarding or cleaning roles in a kitchen/hospitality setting.
• Understanding of kitchen cleaning and hygiene practices.
• Physical, hands-on role with ability to work in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, pots and equipment.
• Keep kitchen, scullery and prep areas clean and hygienic.
• Perform deep-cleaning duties and manage waste disposal.
• Move and store catering equipment safely and correctly.
• Support chefs and wider kitchen team as required.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures.
