Job summary

Hall & Prior Health & Aged Care Group in Sydney’s NSW is seeking a Kitchen Hand for a permanent part-time role at our 45 bed Shangri-La aged care home in Hurstville. The position covers 2pm–8pm on Wednesdays, supporting smooth kitchen operations and delivering nutritious meals.

You will assist with food preparation to meet dietary needs, maintain cleanliness and safe storage, and provide respectful customer service in a friendly team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Kitchen Hand in residential aged care.
• Understanding of texture modified foods.
• Organised, able to work in a busy kitchen and meet deadlines, with strong customer service skills.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Influenza vaccination (or willing to obtain).
• Working rights in Australia (sponsorship will not be offered).
