Lion Pty Ltd is seeking a Kitchen Hand in Australia to assist with food preparation, wash dishes, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment. You will support chefs during service and help manage waste and storage areas.

The role offers a flexible part-time or casual roster, on-the-job training, and opportunities to grow within the business. A reliable, hardworking candidate with good teamwork is ideal.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or hospitality experience preferred (training provided).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and kitchen procedures.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
• Must have the right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and basic kitchen duties.
• Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, prep areas and storage areas.
• Assist chefs during service when required.
• Take out rubbish and keep waste areas clean.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Support the team during busy service periods.
• Ensure kitchen is clean and organised at the end of each shift.
