Job summary

Bathurst RSL Club is seeking a passionate Kitchen Attendant to join our Catering team. This casual role supports the team as we prepare meals, with the club handling over 2000 meals per week and a strong regional reputation.

The successful applicant will thrive in a fast-paced, team environment, be available across days, nights, split shifts and weekends, and demonstrate reliable attendance, strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Availability is essential; must be willing to work days, nights, split shifts and weekends.
• Catering experience in a comparable environment is desirable but not essential.
• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, pressure-driven environment.
• Excellent attendance with punctuality and reliability.
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.

We are looking for a motivated Kitchen Attendant that is passionate about food, someone that is a strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful applicant will assist the Catering team to achieve service goals. The successful applicant will demonstrate the following criteria:

• Availability is essential as the successful applicant must be willing and readily available to work days, nights, split shifts and weekends.
• Previous catering experience in a comparable environment is desirable but not essential.
• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast paced, at times, pressure driven environment.
• Strong work attendance record including punctuality and reliability.
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
