About the Role

This is a hands‑on role supporting our kitchen team to provide meals and refreshments within a clinical research environment. Shifts will vary based on study requirements and may include weekday, evening, and weekend work.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation and meal service
• Prepare snacks, beverages, and light meals
• Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness
• Ensure food storage and handling requirements are followed
• Restock kitchen supplies and consumables
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
• Support compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
• General kitchen and housekeeping duties as required

About You

You will be:

• Reliable, punctual, and flexible
• Friendly and able to work well within a team
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
• Committed to high standards of cleanliness and food safety
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and performing manual tasks

Desirable

• Previous experience in a kitchen, café, hospitality, aged care, healthcare, or catering environment
• Food Safety or Food Handling Certificate
• Current NSW Food Authority Food Handler Basics knowledge
