Job summary

Three Points Core Support & Services PTY LTD is seeking casual in-home support workers to assist clients in Townsville, Queensland. Roles involve providing in-home aged and disability care with an immediate start option.

We welcome both male and female applicants who are committed to compassionate, person-centred care and who hold relevant First Aid/CPR credentials along with a valid driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in aged care and/or disability support (essential)
• Strong understanding of needs and challenges faced by people in aged and disability care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient and person-centred approach
• First Aid & CPR certification (must be held prior to commencement if not current)
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
• Relevant Certificate III qualification (desirable but not essential)

Responsibilities

• Providing personalised, high-quality support to clients, including daily living activities
• Personal care and assistance
• Community access and social engagement
• Advocating for clients’ rights while promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing
• Following organisational policies, procedures and safety guidelines
• Working with the care team to implement individualised support plans
• Maintaining accurate client records and documentation
• Participating in training and professional development
