Job summary

Ingenia Holidays Rivershore is seeking a Casual Grounds & Maintenance Officer to keep the park looking beautiful, safe and welcoming. You’ll work under the Park Manager, performing hands-on garden maintenance, repairs, and daily grounds care to ensure guests enjoy a clean, well‑presented environment.

You’ll bring practical grounds experience, a current C-class driving licence, and a proactive, safety‑minded approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds and maintenance tasks such as pruning, mowing, weeding, and planting.
• Ability to perform basic repairs and operate maintenance tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of safety practices and site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain garden areas through pruning, weeding, fertilising, replanting, mulching, hedging, mowing and edging.
• Keep grounds clean and safe by clearing debris, collecting bins, spraying for weeds/pests, and maintaining pool areas (if applicable).
• Carry out general repairs and maintenance including lighting, fixtures, fencing, BBQs and painting.
• Respond to resident/guest maintenance requests, provide feedback on contractor work, and escalate issues to trades when needed.
• Support site presentation and security by reporting damage or incidents and logging maintenance activities.
