Job summary

Ingenia Holidays is hiring a Grounds & Maintenance Officer for the South West Rocks Holidays site. Reporting to the Park Manager, you’ll keep the park looking beautiful, safe, and welcoming with a clean, well‑maintained environment for guests.

You’ll perform garden care, basic repairs, and respond to maintenance requests. A current C class license and grounds experience ensure you’re ready to contribute to high-quality guest experiences at Ingenia.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining garden areas through pruning, weeding, mulching, mowing, edging.
• Ability to clear debris and manage pool areas where applicable.
• Competence with basic repairs and maintenance tasks (lighting, fixtures, painting).
• Respond to maintenance requests and escalate to trades when needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all garden areas through pruning, weeding, fertilising, replanting, mulching, hedging, mowing and edging.
• Keep grounds clean and safe by clearing debris, collecting bins, spraying for weeds/pests, and maintaining pool areas (if applicable).
• Carry out general repairs and maintenance, including tools, equipment, lighting, fixtures, fencing, BBQs and basic painting.
• Respond to resident/guest maintenance requests, provide feedback on contractor work, and escalation issues to trades when needed.
• Support site presentation and security by reporting damage or incidents and accurately logging all maintenance and repair activities.
