Job summary

Merrylands Bowling Club is seeking Casual Gaming/Club Attendants for night shifts to ensure prompt service to members and visitors while supervising gaming areas in accordance with RSA and RCG guidelines.

You will handle cash, assist with Keno and cash register operations, uphold cash-handling security, and monitor guest behaviour. RSA/RCG certified candidates with strong customer service and attention to detail are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• RSA certification required.
• RCG certification required.
• Advanced Responsible Service of Gambling.
• Criminal Check.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional customer service to patrons and visitors.
• Monitoring and report guest behaviour in line with RSA and RCG requirements and the Groups policies and procedures.
• Adhere to the Groups Gaming Plan of Management.
• Money handling and payment facilitation.
• Adherence to the Groups established procedures for security of cash handling.
• Maintain workplace hygiene, WHS and security procedures.
• Maintain and ensure security of cash within the main bar area (Keno, cash register).
• Identify patrons who are at risk of or experiencing gambling harm.
• Facilitate requests by patrons for information about or to participate in self-exclusion schemes conducted by the club.
• Record incidents relating to persons who are at risk of or experiencing gambling harm in the club's gambling incident register.

To ensure members and visitors are served promptly and efficiently whilst enjoying the facilities of the Club. The role is also responsible for monitoring guest behaviour in accordance with RSA and RCG legislation and guidelines and in line with the Club's policies, constitution, and expectations.

Key responsibilities

Providing exceptional customer service to patrons and visitors
