Job summary

Bega Group is seeking a casual Forklift Operator at our Ridge Street site in NSW. You will move pallets, load/unload, and support production with accurate stock control in a safety-focused environment.

We offer opportunities to learn and grow within an iconic Australian brand, with day, afternoon, and night shifts available. Previous forklift experience and a valid license are preferred; training and a supportive team culture are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
• Valid forklift license (LF) preferred.
• Positive attitude, attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Basic computer literacy and good teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Reporting of all safety incidents and issues.
• Accurate completion of Forklift Daily Check and quality documentation.
• Inspect, identify and reject non-conforming loads & racks.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of loads and stock scanning.
• Adhere to safety and quality policies and procedures.

The Role

Our Ridge street site services many customers in a contract manufacturing capacity focused on packaged, natural and processed cheese. These include the renown Bega cheese blocks- Mild, Tasty, and Vintage, Shredded and Cubed cheese, Natural slices, Parmesan, Colby, mozzarella and Lactose free. Processed blocks & cheese slices…

Casual Forklift Operator will be responsible for moving pallets of cheese, materials or stock to and from storage, loading docks, or other areas related to the plant using a forklift. Join our team and become part of a supportive, safety-focused manufacturing environment. We currently have three casual opportunities available:

2 x Rotating Day/Afternoon Shift (Monday to Friday)

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

1 x Night Shift (Sunday to Friday)

• Night Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Reporting of all safety incidents and issues
• Accurate completion of Forklift Daily Check and all quality-related documentation
• Inspect, Identify and reject non-conforming loads & racking
• Ensure timely and complete delivery of loads and correct scanning to control stock
• Adhering to company safety and quality policies and procedures

About you

• Experience in a manufacturing /warehouse environment
• Valid Forklift license (good to have)
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
• Basic computer literacy skills and Problem-Solving Skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration to work with drivers and staffs.
