Job summary

Funlab in Carousel, Western Australia, is seeking a Casual Facilities Technician to join our energetic team at Strike Bowling and Holey Moley Golf Club venues. You will help maintain bowling machines, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure the venue runs smoothly and safely for guests.

You should bring a practical, hands-on mindset, be comfortable working autonomously, and communicate effectively with the team while upholding safety standards and keeping spaces neat and welcoming.

Qualifications

• Natural technical and mechanical aptitude.
• Proven technical or mechanical experience.
• Willingness to learn and problem solve.
• Collaborative and positive approach to work.
• Able to work autonomously and communicate with the team.
• Keep spaces tidy and observe safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain bowling machines, perform mechanical repairs, and lane fixes during shifts.
• Complete Preventative Maintenance Schedule for equipment and venue attractions/devices.
• Assist in maintenance of other venue equipment.
• Liaise with trades/contractors as needed.
• General venue upkeep (painting, repairs, etc).
• Create unforgettable guest experiences with energy and top-tier service.

What You'll Do:

• Support maintenance of our bowling machines including mechanical repairs, machine cleaning & general lane fixes during shifts
• Complete the Preventative Maintenance Schedule for all equipment, machines and venue attractions/devices
• Assistance in the maintenance of all other pieces of equipment in the venue;
• Liaison with specialist trades/contractors; and
• General facility upkeep (painting, repairs, etc)
• Create and deliver unforgettable guest experiences with your energy and top-tier service mindset
• Follow all safety and compliance procedures to keep guests and your teammates safe

Comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate, with ongoing support from the national technical team.

What You've Got:
