Goodstart Maroochydore – Main Road is looking for a Casual Educator to support the centre across multiple rooms and age groups. You’ll bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and a genuine passion for early learning.

You’ll help deliver safe, engaging learning experiences, build strong relationships with children and families, and collaborate with educators and leadership to meet National Quality Standards. Earn up to $48.29 per hour, enjoy flexible casual shifts, and explore pathways to permanent

Qualifications

• ACECQA-approved Early Childhood qualification
• Current QLD Working with Children Check
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training via the Geccko platform
• Flexible availability Monday to Friday
• Willingness to work across different rooms and age groups
• Willingness to travel between nearby Goodstart services where required
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing

About the role

As a Casual Educator at Goodstart Maroochydore – Main Road, you'll provide flexible support across the centre, bringing enthusiasm, professionalism, and a genuine passion for early learning.

You'll play an important role in creating safe, engaging, and inclusive environments where children feel secure, supported, and excited to learn.

In this role, you'll:

• Contribute to engaging, play-based educational programs
• Engage, supervise, and support children throughout the day
• Create safe, welcoming, and nurturing learning environments
• Build strong, positive relationships with children and families
• Work collaboratively with educators and centre leadership

About Goodstart Maroochydore – Main Road

• Welcoming centre catering for children from six weeks to five years, across Nursery, Toddler, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten rooms.
• Four learning rooms across a two-storey centre, giving you the opportunity to gain experience across different ages and developmental stages.
• Two outdoor play areas designed to challenge, inspire, and encourage children to learn through play.
• Strong focus on sustainability, with initiatives including a worm farm, composting, recycling, and a water tank.
• Educational programs are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.
• Passionate and qualified team focused on children's individual needs, interests, strengths, and cultural backgrounds.
• Conveniently located near community facilities, public transport, schools, and local shops.
