Job summary

Journey Early Learning Group is seeking a Casual Educator for our Kyneton centre. You will support daily routines, assist with learning experiences across age groups, and help create a safe, engaging environment for children.

This casual pool allows you to gain hands-on experience and be part of a caring team. Ideal candidates hold an ACECQA-recognised Certificate III or Diploma or are working towards it, with strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• ACECQA-recognised Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or working towards).
• Reliable and positive with ability to support different rooms and age groups.
• Passionate about children’s learning, wellbeing, and safety.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Current Asthma, Anaphylaxis, and First Aid certificates held.

Responsibilities

• Support engaging learning experiences across all age groups.
• Assist educators with daily routines and learning environments.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with children and families.

Casual Educator | Kyneton

We’re creating a casual educator pool for our Kyneton centre and are looking for warm, flexible, and enthusiastic educators to support our team. This role offers variety across age groups and rooms, giving you the chance to build hands‑on experience while supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.

As a Casual Educator with Journey, you’ll play an important role in supporting daily routines, creating positive experiences, and stepping in where your team needs you most.

Key Responsibilities

• Support engaging learning experiences across all age groups
• Assist educators with routines and day‑to‑day learning environments
• Build positive, respectful relationships with children and families
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and wellbeing
• Be flexible and responsive to the needs of the centre

About You

• ACECQA‑recognised Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or working towards)
• Reliable, positive, and confident supporting different rooms
• Passionate about children’s learning and wellbeing
• Strong communicator who enjoys working as part of a team
• Hold current Asthma, Anaphylaxis, and First Aid Certificates
