Job summary

Journey Early Learning Durack is seeking a Casual Educator in Durack, NT. You’ll support play-based learning, assist daily routines and engage with children across different rooms and age groups.

With a minimum of 4 days per week, you’ll join a welcoming team focused on safety, wellbeing and meaningful learning experiences. Relevant qualifications and First Aid/child safety training are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 days per week availability.
• Experience in the early childhood sector.
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• National Child Safety Training completed.

About the Role

As a Casual Educator, you’ll support the team where you’re needed, helping create safe, engaging and positive learning environments for children.

No two days are the same — you’ll build relationships, support daily routines and contribute to meaningful play-based learning experiences across the centre.

About You

• Minimum 4 days’ availability per week
• Previous early childhood sector experience
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Completed National Child Safety Training
• Reliable, positive and confident working across different rooms
• Passionate about children’s learning and wellbeing
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
