Job summary

Journey Early Learning Knoxfield is seeking a Casual Educator to support planning, implementing and evaluating programs for children. You’ll join a close-knit team in a calm, connected environment with a strong focus on collaboration and child-centred learning.

You will contribute to age-appropriate activities, build positive relationships with children and families, and support program delivery under the guidance of our experienced team.

Journey Early Learning is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Casual Educator to work within the team supporting the planning, implementing, and evaluating programs, for all children at Journey Early Learning.

Our 86-place, single-level centre has been open for 4 years, offering a calm, connected environment across all rooms, with multi-age yards and our very own Bush Kinder in the backyard - creating daily opportunities for children to explore and learn through nature.

With a Centre Manager who has been there since opening and a team who’ve grown together over the years, you’ll feel genuinely supported. Programming is a shared approach, giving every educator a voice in planning and documenting meaningful learning.

About You

You are creative and child focussed with a passion to lead and develop age specific programs and daily routines. You will work as part of the centre team, building strong relationships with Educators, children, and families.

Key skills and requirements:

• An ACECQA recognised Certificate III or higher
• Experience leading and developing age specific programs and routines
• An approved Working with Children Check
• Current Asthma, Anaphylaxis and First Aid Certificates
