Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning in Fernvale invites a dedicated casual Educator to join our team. You will support centres and children across shifts from 6am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, adapting to varying needs and locations while upholding safety and inclusivity.

You will contribute to the education program, engage and supervise children, and help create enriching learning experiences. Ideal candidates hold an ACECQA approved early childhood qualification with a current QLD Working with Children

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved early childhood qualification is required.
• Current QLD Working with Children Check is required.
• Willing to travel between other local services with flexible Mon–Fri availability.
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards is required.
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training (via Geckco platform) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively contributing to the education program in the room and centre team.
• Engaging and supervising the children at all times.
• Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families.
• Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures.
• Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.

Education

Certificate of Completion National Child Safety Foundation Training

Willing to travel between other local services and flexible availability Monday–Friday

Centre: Goodstart Fernvale

Employment Type:Casual shifts Monday to Friday between 6am and 6pm

Pay: $42.88ph - $48.29ph (depending on qualification and experience)
