Job summary

Goodstart Cessnock in NSW is seeking a Casual Educator to support our early learning program. You will work across shifts, supervising children and contributing to a nurturing, safe learning environment at our Cessnock centre.

The role offers casual shifts with above award wages, casual loading, and opportunities for professional development within a supportive team. You’ll be part of a national network committed to child safety and quality education.

Qualifications

• Cert III or equivalent in Children’s Services.
• Must have valid Working with Children check.
• Knowledge of National Quality Standards (NQS) and suitability for the role.

Responsibilities

• Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team.
• Engaging and supervising the children at all times.
• Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families.
• Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures.
• Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.

Location: Cessnock – NSW

Centre: Goodstart Cessnock

Employment Type: Casual shifts Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 6:00pm

Pay: $36.65 to $39.91 Plus Casual Loading
