Job summary

Scope is seeking a Casual Disability Support Worker in Warrnambool, VIC. You will provide person-centred support to help customers achieve goals and maintain independence, covering a range of activities from daily living to community access.

Ideal candidates hold a Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent, have a full VIC driver’s licence, and possess or be willing to obtain NDIS Worker Screening, Working with Children Check, and First Aid/CPR.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.
• Working with Children Check mandatory or willing to obtain.
• First Aid and CPR current or willing to obtain.
• Full VIC Driver's Licence required.
• Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to help customers achieve their goals and independence.
• Assist with daily living activities, personal care, health routines and community access.
• Follow individual support plans, behaviour support strategies and safety procedures.
• Use calm communication and positive approaches when responding to behaviours of concern.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Be reliable, patient and committed to delivering high-quality support.
