Job summary

Queensland Lutheran Early Childhood and School-Aged Care Services – LORDS OSHC on the Gold Coast is seeking a Diploma-qualified Educator to support before school, after school and vacation care programs. You will work with a team to provide safe, inclusive, and engaging care that aligns with the My Time Our Place framework and NQF.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children’s Services or ACECQA-approved equivalent, or actively working towards one.
• Current Blue Card and First Aid/CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications or willingness to obtain.
• Child Protection Training completed or as required by Law.
• Experience in an OSHC or similar setting preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to build positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children before school, after school and during holidays.
• Deliver programs tailored to varying ages and abilities in line with My Time Our Place and National Quality Framework.
• Engage positively with children and families; collaborate with a team of educators.
• Support light cleaning and workspace upkeep to maintain a safe environment.
• Foster positive relationships with the school community and ensure best outcomes for children.
